OVERVIEW

A handcrafted compact pocket mirror encased in textured leather or tactile pony hair, featuring embedded realistic glass eye inlays. Available in both classic square clamshell and asymmetrical heart swivel designs, this mirror merges Surrealist motifs with dark, subcultural utility for touch-ups on the go.

Shape & Design: Available in a hinged square dual-mirror clamshell silhouette or a magnetic asymmetrical heart swivel casing, each set with single or paired glass eye inserts and finished with silver-tone metal frames

Hardware & Closure: Polished silver-tone metal frame with secure snap-clamshell or swivel magnetic closure; debossed brand lettering (LUFTMENSCH.ATELIER) on selected back panels

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

General Leather & Metal Care

Clean the outer leather casing with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid direct contact with water, liquids, or harsh cleaning agents. Keep away from direct heat sources and high humidity to preserve the leather bond and metal finish. Avoid sharp impacts or dropping onto hard surfaces to prevent damage to the interior glass mirrors or embedded eye inserts.

Eye Color & Glass Care

The embedded glass eye inlays may shift in tone over time if exposed to prolonged humidity, extreme temperatures, or direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Gently wipe internal mirror surfaces with a clean glass-safe cloth.

General Washing & Maintenance

Wash Less: To maintain fabric structure and raw finishes, avoid frequent washing. Air out garments after wearing whenever possible.

Cold Water Only: Always hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle with cold water (max 30°C / 86°F) to prevent shrinkage and color fading.

Gentle Detergent: Use a mild, neutral detergent. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softeners.

Wash Inside Out: Turn garments inside out prior to washing to protect surface textures, distressing, prints, and metallic hardware.

Drying & Garment Shape

Do Not Tumble Dry: Heat damages technical fibers, distressing details, and structure. Always line dry or lay flat to dry in the shade.
 
Shape While Damp: Gently reshape dark denim, twill, and structured heavy cotton garments while still damp before hanging.

Knitwear Care: Heavy knits and soft distressed tops should always be stored flat (folded) rather than hung to prevent stretching.

Ironing & Hardware Details

Steam Preferred: Use a garment steamer to remove creases and refresh fabric without crushing raw textures or causing shine marks.

Low Heat Iron: If using an iron, iron on low heat from the reverse side and use a protective pressing cloth.

Hardware Care: Fasten all zippers, buttons, and metallic buckles before washing to prevent snagging on raw edges or mesh panels.
